Ekemeno sighed, pacing back and forth across his underground haven. The walls were constructed of large, dark stones, stacked artfully if not precisely. Gothic sconces, covered in age-old wax, held candles that dimly lit the circular area. As he moved, Ekemeno's fingers lightly caressed the large coffin in the center of his ancient crypt.   
He had to find the lamania; his future depended on it. But with Keara so uncooperative...
